WHO WE ARE

Everyone in Central New York deserves to be warm, fed, safe and thriving.

S.A.F.E. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Syracuse that brings together community organizations and local partners to fight food insecurity and provide essential resources. Called to the work of social justice and equity, we provide a welcoming community and shsare access to life-supporting resources with our Central New York neighbors.

Everything happens at the Food Center at 324 University Avenue, from the Friday food distribution to the clothing room and Sunday to-go breakfast. Help is offered freely, all programs are free and no appointment is needed.

OUR NAME

S.A.F.E. stands for Syracuse Assistance for Food & Essentials.
